Samsung GALAXY J3 Review


The Samsung J3 is a middle-end smart phone in the market. It applies the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and has a 1.5GB RAM and an 8GB ROM. It has a 5.0 inches screen with a resolution ration of 720P and the screen uses Super AMOLED material. It has a 8MP primary camera and a 5MP front camera. The battery is 2600mAh.

The appearance of the J3 is round and compact. The Logo of Samsung is on the front side the phone. The Home key and two virtual keys are on the bottom of the screen .

There is a 3.5 mm earphone jack on the top of the phone. The noise-canceling microphone and a USB data interface are on the bottom of the phone.

There is a pinstripe on the side face of the phone which is very comfortable for hand holding. The power switch and the volume keys are on the side face of the phone.

The back cover is removable, so this design makes it possible to change a new battery and there is no need for a card slot. It supports the extension of the Micro SD card.

The display performance of the screen is brilliant.

As a result of the Super AMOLED material, the screen would deliver very abundant and brilliant performance.

The good contrast ratio also makes the black field performance very excellent. The 5.0 inches screen has a PPI of 293 that is close to that of the retina, which brings a wonderful visual effect.

As to the camera performance, it has a F2.2 aperture and an LED light-compensating lamp. You can adjust the IOS, the speed of shutter and other settings under professional mode.

The camera performance of distant view is also good. The color rendition and the white balance are also wonderful. The micro-focusing speed is very fast that can well capture the details. To conclude, the performance of the camera is excellent.

The Samsung carries the TouchWiz system. The User Interface of the system is very clear and compact. The running of the system is also fluent due to the flash settings on the interface.

There are some changes of the setting interface, such as reclassification of icons. A search function is added.

As to the configuration,the J3 carries a quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor that can operate in a frequency of 1.2GHz. It applies the Cortex-A53 framework and uses a 28 nm HPM craft. In a word, the performance is at the middle-end level of general smart phones.
